Job summary

Evergreen FS, a leading agricultural solutions provider, is seeking a McLean County Crop Specialist in Bloomington, IL. The role involves selling crop nutrients, protection, seed, scouting, and technology services while traveling within the territory to grow the customer base and secure orders.

Responsibilities include developing sales plans, delivering agronomic recommendations, handling credit terms, and meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business and 3+ years in related work.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel daily within the trade area and extended hours during peak seasons.
• Professional certifications such as CCA, CCS, or CPAg may be required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Sells and markets crop nutrients, crop protection, seed, scouting, and technology services to new and existing customers.
• Develops and executes territory-specific sales plans to meet profitability goals.
• Travels within the assigned territory to establish Evergreen FS brand and secure orders.
• Provides agronomic recommendations and value-added services to customers.
• Prepares sales contracts, quotes, and credit terms; manages order deliveries and follow-ups.
