Job summary

Evergreen FS in Bloomington, IL seeks sales-focused agribusiness professionals to grow our presence in the region. The role offers a salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year plus commissions and opportunities for growth.

You will travel within the territory to customers, promote crop nutrients, crop protection, seed, and related services, develop sales strategies, and provide agronomic value to producers.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business, or the equivalent thereof.
• 3+ years of related work experience in production agriculture.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Daily independent travel within the trade area with occasional overnight stays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable professional certifications (e.g. CCA, CCS, CPAg).
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Sells and markets products to new and existing customers, including Crop Nutrients, Crop Protection, Seed, Scouting, Climate Fieldview, Technology Services, and Ag-finance programs.
• Implements marketing plans and develops sales strategies to generate profitable sales within the territory.
• Travels to client locations to establish Evergreen FS brand and obtain orders.
• Meets sales goals as established by supervisor and develops territory knowledge.
