Job summary

AgVantage FS is seeking a field-based sales professional to drive growth in its Northern and Eastern Iowa territory. You will travel to customer sites, present agronomic products and financing options, and close orders while following GROWMARK sales strategies.

Applicants should have an associate degree in agriculture or related field or equivalent experience, and 2+ years of sales in production agriculture. Valid driver’s license and licenses/certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business or the equivalent thereof.
• 2+ years of related sales experience in production agriculture.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Implements marketing plans and develops sales strategies for the assigned territory.
• Travels to client locations to establish the GROWMARK brand and secure orders.
• Utilizes targeted marketing and professional sales techniques and manages customer contacts.
• Meets sales goals as set by supervision and maintains knowledge of marketplace and competition.
• Provides agronomic product knowledge, services, and recommendations to customers.
