Job summary

AgVantage FS in Iowa is seeking a dynamic sales professional to implement marketing plans, develop effective sales strategies, and drive profitable sales within the assigned territory. You will travel to client locations to establish the GROWMARK brand, secure orders, and promote agronomy products and services.

The role requires 2+ years of related sales experience in production agriculture, an Associate’s Degree in a related field, and the ability to obtain necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business.
• 2+ years of related sales experience in production agriculture.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a seller’s license where required.
• Ability to travel daily within the trade area with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Implements marketing plans and develops sales strategies.
• Travels to client locations within the territory to establish GROWMARK brand and obtain orders.
• Uses target marketing techniques and sales roadmap to call on patrons and prospects.
• Meets sales goals as set by supervisor.
• Develops territory and competitive analysis to stay aware of market conditions.
