Job summary

Evergreen FS, Inc. is seeking individuals to join our agronomy team in Illinois. You will train in all aspects of the department, including sales and operations, to build a solid foundation for a career in agronomy.

You will learn to develop territory analyses, support customer relationships, and apply precision farming tools to grow market share while taking advantage of our comprehensive benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in agriculture, marketing or business-related discipline or equivalent; 1–2 years of related experience or training to demonstrate sales ability.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel daily within the trade area with occasional overnights.
• Ability to obtain CDL license within first year of employment.
• Certifications: Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) and Commercial Applicator required or to be pursued.

Responsibilities

• Train in all aspects of the agronomy department, including sales and operations.
• Develop territory and competitive analyses to understand the marketplace.
• Meet goals as set by supervisor.
• Learn to create agronomy programs for targeted accounts to grow business.
• Utilize seed, precision farming tech, finance and marketing tools to grow market share.
• Collaborate with Crop Specialists on agronomy projects and trials.
