Evergreen FS is seeking ambitious individuals to join our agronomy team, offering hands-on training across sales and operations. This role emphasizes developing knowledge of the marketplace, creating agronomy programs for accounts, and using cutting-edge precision farming tools to grow market share.

This entry-level opportunity includes CDL and certifications within the first year, a strong benefits package, and the chance to contribute to multiple counties across IL and MI as described.

Qualifications

• Associates’ Degree in agriculture, marketing or business related discipline.
• Must obtain CDL license within first year of employment.
• CCA and Commercial Applicator certifications required to demonstrate agronomy expertise.

Responsibilities

• Training and learning all aspects of the agronomy department, including sales and operations.
• Develops territory and competitive analysis to understand market and competition.
• Meet goals as set by supervisor.
• Create and recommend agronomy programs for targeted accounts to grow business.
• Utilize seed, precision farming technology, finance and marketing tools to grow market share.
• Collaborate with Crop Specialist on agronomy projects (e.g., MiFIELD Trials).
• Develop target marketing plans and train on professional sales techniques and contact management.
