Horizon Farm Credit is seeking a Portfolio Support Specialist Manager to lead a team overseeing loan transactions from origination through closing and ongoing servicing. You will drive process improvements, coach staff, and partner with Ag Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional customer experiences across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance, Agriculture, or related field.
• Eight+ years of sales and/or credit experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Expertise in credit administration and loan servicing.
• Thorough knowledge of credit policies, standards, and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travel.
• Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Portfolio Support Specialists to support business growth and operational excellence.
• Oversee loan transaction and servicing activities to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with procedures and service standards.
• Monitor team performance, establish expectations, and provide training to maintain a highly skilled workforce.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing innovative processes that enhance efficiency and customer value.
• Champion change initiatives and help team members adapt to evolving business needs.
• Ensure portfolio servicing actions are completed accurately and within established timelines with clear workflow visibility.
• Collaborate with Ag Relationship Managers, Home & Land Lenders, Portfolio Managers, and other partners to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Provide technical guidance related to credit administration, loan servicing procedures, and customer relationship management best practices.
• Utilize CRM tools to strengthen customer relationships and support a strong sales culture.
• Participate in Association, regional, and district-wide initiatives and leadership opportunities.
