Job summary

ActivePipe is hiring a Technical Business Analyst to gather and manage product requirements and translate them into technical specs. You will work with the VP of Engineering, UX leads and Product Manager to capture customer insights and define features that improve the product and customer experience.

You will lead estimation of features, decompose initiatives into stories, and create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria for testing. Collaboration with Engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• 3+ years' industry experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
• Experience delivering agile initiatives in digital environments.
• Agile process experience with small teams.
• Experience with innovative products and product teams.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the product team with building and maintaining the backlog, aligning requirements and user stories to product strategy.
• Translating business needs into technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Decomposing initiatives into features and stories prioritized by the Product Manager.
• Facilitating agile estimation, planning and sprints with the Engineering Team Lead.
• Running workshops, story mapping, and release planning for each release.
• Ensuring traceability between user stories and feature enhancements.
• Assisting with integration testing to verify product enhancements.
