Job summary

DMSi Software is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our agile development team. You will translate customer and market needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, collaborating with customers, stakeholders, and design teams to define features and improve the user experience.

You will gather requirements through interviews, surveys, and workflow analysis, participate in planning, demos, and stand-ups, and help ensure quality through reviews, tests, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Business Analysis, Business Administration, MIS, or related fields.
• Two to five years Business Analyst experience.
• Strong background in software design lifecycle, project management, and business analyst best practices.

Responsibilities

• Write concise and compelling user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and design teams to define features and improve UX.
• Gather requirements via interviews, questionnaires, surveys, workflows, and observation.
• Participate in Agile planning, retrospectives, demos, and daily stand-ups.
• Work with the product owner to share product goals and vision.
• Develop deep knowledge of customers, industry, and products.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review test plans to ensure alignment with acceptance criteria.
• Create and review release notes and help documentation.
