Job summary

Adeptus Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business and technical teams within a SAFe Agile environment. You will translate complex processes into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and Azure DevOps work items.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, Product Management, developers, QA, and project leadership to ensure alignment from business needs to delivery, and support backlog refinement and PI planning in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• BA/PM or related field experience; strong requirements analysis and documentation skills.
• Experience turning business needs into actionable Agile work items.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements across the software lifecycle.
• Map current and future-state processes, workflows, actors, and system interactions.
• Document business rules, policies, and system behaviors governing processes.
• Translate requirements into SAFe/Agile features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and ADO items.
• Create and maintain requirements in Azure DevOps and ensure traceability.
• Decompose complex requirements into actionable user stories for iterative development.
• Develop clear, measurable acceptance criteria and testable outcomes.
• Maintain traceability from needs to backlog and delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Management to support backlog refinement and readiness.
• Participate in SAFe PI Planning, backlog refinement, and system demos.
