Job summary

Delta Dental of California is seeking a Scrum Master to lead Agile teams and facilitate Scrum ceremonies. The role focuses on applying Agile values, practices, and principles, while driving risk and dependency management and fostering continuous improvement.

The candidate will support Product Owners, track team performance, and coordinate with other teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Strong communication and facilitation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of delivery leadership in technology with Agile delivery experience
• Strong facilitation, situational awareness and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to teach simple Agile concepts to teams
• Ability to analyze data and draw insights on team performance
• SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP familiarity

Responsibilities

• Act as servant leader to Agile teams and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
• Support Product Owners with backlog maintenance and refinement
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies via Scrum of Scrums
• Identify impediments and remove barriers to enable team cooperation
• Escalate impediments when unresolved and monitor Scrum processes
