Job summary

Integrated Data Services (IDS) is seeking a Requirements Lead to drive Agile software development for government systems in the Washington DC area. The role collaborates with customers and cross‑functional teams, owning backlog refinement, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure high‑value delivery.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in Agile environments, strong writing skills, and experience interfacing with stakeholders and DoD finance/ logistics domains.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least five years of experience supporting software applications and working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience with DoD finance, contracting, acquisition and logistics systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Agile requirements lifecycle for enhancements, including elicitation, backlog refinement, user story and acceptance criteria definition.
• Own and manage key Agile artifacts in Jira and Confluence (epics, user stories, design specs, traceability).
• Collaborate with developers, testers and leads to clarify functional behavior, data flows and UX.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations of new capabilities to customers and stakeholders.
• Support onsite requirements as needed and coordinate with Product Owners for sprint and release planning.
