Job summary

Sellers & Associates LLC is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Scrum Master to lead Agile ceremonies, coach teams, and deliver modernized government software. This full-time, primarily remote role requires in-person NAVSEA meetings in Washington, D.C., and strong DoD IT/security controls experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• 2+ years of Agile project management experience.
• 2+ years using JIRA or similar tools.
• Experience supporting multiple teams and shifting priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Knowledge of SAFe, Kanban, or Lean-Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams in virtual or hybrid settings.
• Translate user requirements into goals.
• Git, GitHub, and DevOps workflows knowledge.
• Experience in DoD IT environments with security controls.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years acceptable in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define priorities, and translate needs into goals.
• Plan and manage roadmaps, release schedules, and dependencies across developments.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and PMs to deliver software solutions.
• Create and maintain Jira epics, user stories, bugs, tasks, acceptance criteria, and testing requirements.
• Independently convert meetings into Jira tickets, acceptance criteria, decisions, and follow-up actions.
• Write and maintain technical documentation including requirements, specs, user guides, test plans, deployment instructions.
• Optimize internal processes and strengthen cross-functional relationships.
• Identify and resolve blockers by engaging stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication with internal/external stakeholders for transparency and timely decisions.
• Support testing/validation for Power Platform and Microsoft 365-based applications.
