Job summary

Business Needs Inc. is seeking a Contract Product Owner to support the MyDelivery product team.

This role emphasizes backlog ownership, requirements definition, sprint readiness, and Agile delivery for capabilities that support store fulfillment, dispatch operations, delivery drivers, and PRO customer deliveries. The Product Owner will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, support teams, and operations partners to translate business needs into detailed requirements and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
2-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
Demonstrated ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience managing and prioritizing a product backlog.
CSPO, PSPO, or comparable Agile certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog.
Create, refine, and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
Ensure backlog items are sufficiently detailed, testable, and sprint-ready before development begins.
Partner with product leadership to maintain delivery priorities and sequencing.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Serve as the primary source of functional clarification for engineering teams.
Support delivery teams in resolving requirements questions and business process ambiguities.
Document business requirements, workflows, user journeys, and operational processes.
Collaborate with engineers, QA partners, UX resources, and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of solutions.
Support rollout and adoption activities for new functionality.
