Apptad Inc. is seeking a Contract Product Owner in Raleigh, NC to support the My Delivery product team. The role focuses on backlog ownership, requirements definition, and Agile delivery for store fulfillment, dispatch operations, and delivery services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
2–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
Demonstrated ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog.
Create, refine, and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
Ensure backlog items are sufficiently detailed and sprint-ready before development begins.
Partner with product leadership to maintain delivery priorities and sequencing.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Serve as the primary source of functional clarification for engineering teams.
Support delivery teams in resolving requirements questions and business process ambiguities.
Document business requirements, workflows, user journeys, and operational processes.
Translate stakeholder needs into actionable product requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, QA, UX, and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of solutions.
