Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to enable cross-functional technology delivery squads to produce predictable, high-quality value for customers and the business. You will coach squads, promote agile best practices, manage impediments, and provide visibility through metrics and dashboards.

You will mentor product owners and stakeholders, coordinate dependencies across squads, and support DevOps and automation initiatives to drive continuous improvement and value realization within

Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent agile delivery qualification.
• Agile coaching, Kanban, Lean, Product or DevOps certifications are desirable.
• SAFe or other scaled-delivery certification is desirable.
• Equivalent experience within technology, digital, software engineering or product delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies and coach squads in agile principles.
• Identify and remove impediments, improve flow, support release planning and dependencies.
• Mentor squad members, product owners and stakeholders in agile practices and problem-solving.
• Use delivery data and metrics to improve predictability, quality and decisions.
• Build relationships across technology and MAXIMUS, translate delivery challenges to business impacts.
• Promote DevOps, automated delivery, and AI-enabled productivity where value is measurable.
• Maintain delivery information and ensure risks and decisions are tracked and escalated.
