• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and priorities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receives inbound customer orders by telephone for sand and gravel shipments.
• Enters orders into dispatch and order management systems with accuracy.
• Verifies order details with customers—dates, quantities, locations, instructions.
• Educates customers on products and directs to self-service resources.
• Quotes COD orders and processes credit card payments via telecheck.
• Assigns delivery personnel and dispatches trucks to sites and plants.
• Monitors fleet activity and optimizes delivery schedules.
• Tracks KPIs and addresses scheduling or service trends.
• Receives and resolves customer complaints with proper escalation.
• Notifies safety and operations on accidents or safety concerns.
• Maintains accurate records for reporting and compliance.
