Job summary

US Aggregates, a Indiana-based producer of aggregates, seeks a Plant Clerk to support dispatch, weigh/ ticket trucks, and manage daily admin tasks. You will assist sales with quotes, process cash sales, and ensure accurate reporting for the plant.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in a collaborative team. You will train backup clerks, handle PO's and invoicing, and serve as a liaison between sales and operations to keep processes efficient and compliant with safety

Responsibilities

• Backups for dispatching and scheduling haulers for daily loads.
• Weighing and ticketing trucks; verify daily tickets for accuracy.
• Manage visitor check-ins and enforce safety requirements and site training.
• Scan and file daily tickets; process daily cash sales.
• Update and compile daily CAPP reports and submit to QC lab and plant manager.
• Assist sales team with quotes and job updates within territory.
• Train backup plant clerks and manage PO's, billing, and invoicing.
• Support customers and coordinate between sales, operations and other teams.
