Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our exceptional service. You will assist customers with rentals, inspect and prep equipment, and use mobile U-Scan tech to manage inventory and invoices.

The role involves lifting, docking trucks and trailers, and learning through U-Haul University. A valid driver’s license and a HS diploma are required; forklift training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers; inspect equipment.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill training provided.
• Drive a forklift (training provided) and participate in ongoing U-Haul education.
