Job summary

Orchid Insurance, an Arrowhead Intermediaries company, seeks an Agency Development Manager to expand agency distribution by driving qualified submissions and growing written premium. This field-based role requires frequent travel within the Florida Tri-County Area and remote work flexibility.

You will train and guide agencies on systems, products, and underwriting guidelines, while building trusted partnerships and delivering measurable growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of Property & Casualty experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently for in-person agency visits within the assigned territory.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
• Must be team-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Must be results-oriented in high-volume environments.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing agents to drive risk selection and partnerships.
• Generate premium growth through agency interactions (calls, emails, visits).
• Identify new agency opportunities via prospecting.
• Deliver training on systems, products and underwriting guidelines.
• Serve as a product and systems subject matter expert and stay informed on industry trends.
• Maintain records of agency interactions using Salesforce.
