Job summary

Orchid Insurance, an Arrowhead Intermediaries company, seeks an Agency Development Manager to expand our agency distribution by driving quotes, growing premiums, and increasing policies in force. This field-based role rewards relationship-building, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ADM will train agencies, stay current on products and underwriting guidelines, and monitor performance to identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Property & Casualty industry experience required.
• Willingness to travel frequently for in-person agency visits within the assigned territory.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with CRM tooling and standard business software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with agents to drive risk selection and growth.
• Generate premium growth through interaction with agencies (calls, emails, visits).
• Train and support agencies on systems, products, and underwriting guidelines.
• Proactively monitor performance metrics and identify training opportunities.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and agency visits.
