Job summary

Orchid Insurance, an Arrowhead Intermediaries company, seeks an Agency Development Manager to grow our agency distribution, drive quotes and written premium, and expand policies in force. This field-based role requires travel within the Florida Tri-County Area and offers remote work with frequent in-person agency visits.

The ADM will train, guide, and support agency partners, act as product SME, and collaborate cross-functionally to keep offerings competitive and relevant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of Property & Casualty industry experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for in-person agency visits within the assigned territory.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing agents to drive risk selection and long‑term partnerships.
• Generate new premium growth through interactions with agencies via calls, emails, and visits.
• Identify and develop new agency opportunities through proactive prospecting.
• Deliver training and ongoing support to agencies on systems, products, and underwriting guidelines.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on product offerings and core systems and stay informed on industry trends.
