Job summary

AKRS Equipment is seeking a Parts Specialist to help customers identify and purchase the correct parts to keep equipment and operations running smoothly. You will unload shipments, stock shelves, and support service technicians with the parts they need for repairs.

You will also assist with maintaining attractive displays and participate in inventory counts while keeping the parts department organized and efficient. Excellent customer service and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Ability to work weekends.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts to keep their equipment and operations running efficiently.
• Unload shipments and stock shelves.
• Supply Service Technicians with the parts they need to complete repairs.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining attractive merchandise displays.
• Participate in perpetual inventory counts and maintain a clean, organized parts department.
• Follow up on parts shortages and work with the Parts Manager to resolve issues promptly.
