Interstate Assembly Systems is seeking a Parts Counter Specialist in Surprise, AZ to support production and up-fitting operations with accurate parts picking and timely order fulfillment.

You will pull parts per work orders, assist walk-in customers, and ensure inventory is correctly relieved and tracked. The role requires forklift use, RF scanning familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Solid verbal, written and phone communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet timelines.
• Good record keeping and organizational practices.
• Familiarity with heavy truck parts a plus.
• Ability to safely lift heavy loads up to 75lbs.
• Prior experience in warehouse environment and forklift usage.
• Familiarity with RF Scanners a plus.
• Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Picking of parts on scheduled work orders and relieving inventory through inventory management system.
• Answer will call for drop in parts needed by production and up-fitting that are not scheduled on work orders.
• Adding parts to work orders and correctly relieving inventory.
• Inventory control operations including cycle counting and location adjustments.
• May require measuring and cutting material to length.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and comply with all company policy and safety procedures.
• Answering all parts calls
• Assisting all walk-in customers.
• Increasing the Parts sales by following up on quotes given.
• Ensure COD payments are getting collect for orders before they ship.
• Assist Service department with locating parts needed for open jobs.
