Job summary

AgWest Farm Credit seeks a Relationship Manager I, II, or III to support the Arizona Lending and Insurance department in Imperial, California. This full-time role involves building customer relationships, assessing credit, and coordinating across teams to ensure quality loan servicing and profitable credit decisions.

You will travel up to 25% within the AgWest territory, gather financial data, and assist in loan closings while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent.
• Ability to read or learn to read audited financial statements, tax records and other financials.
• Ability to establish rapport with customers and prospective customers.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate terms for low complexity, smaller relationships.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell loans and related services; build customer relationships.
• Visit customers’ operations; assess collateral and management practices.
• Make credit decisions within delegated authority; ensure loan portfolio quality.
• Monitor loan performance and service assigned accounts; coordinate with teams.
• Prepare credit analyses and present recommendations to loan committees.
• Collect financial data via interviews and financial documents; verify information.
• Assist in credit investigations including public records and credit reports.
• Participate in loan closings with proper documentation.
• Develop sales/servicing plans and coordinate with analysts and specialists.
• Communicate with groups to meet customer needs and organizational goals.
