Woodcraft Rangers is seeking an Early Learning / TK Program Leader to support Jr. Rangers Club Leaders in a part‑time role.

You will help run after‑school activities for approximately 20 children, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. The position requires collaboration with the Site Coordinator and program staff, with duties including attendance tracking and materials management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's Degree in Child Development is preferred.
• Experience with expanded learning programs or after‑school settings is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems are required.
• Must pass an assessment evaluating math, reading comprehension, and spelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe and supportive environment for students, physically and emotionally.
• Plan and lead engaging, age‑appropriate activities for ~20 children.
• Monitor attendance and participation to ensure consistent engagement.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with site coordinator and colleagues to plan events celebrating participant achievements.
• Request program materials in a timely manner to adhere to budget guidelines.
• Adhere to safety procedures and required trainings; participate in field trips as needed.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and submit daily.
