Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston seeks an Afterschool Site Lead to manage a licensed school-age program in Katy ISD/Conroe ISD/Humble ISD sites. You will ensure safety, supervise staff, implement the YMCA curriculum, and engage families while building a high-quality program.

In addition to base pay, a temporary $3.00 per hour stipend applies to eligible locations. Part-time schedule with before/after school shifts, training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development.
• Two college courses are equivalent to 100 clock hours.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Afterschool Site Lead, ensuring children are safe, supported, and engaged daily.
• Coordinate daily program operations and implement YMCA curriculum.
• Maintain licensing compliance and build relationships with families and partners.
• Oversee enrollment, attendance records, and staff supervision.
