Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking an Afterschool Site Lead to oversee a licensed school-age program in Katy. You will ensure safety, engagement, and quality while coordinating daily operations and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 70 clock hours training in child/youth development.
• Two college courses equivalent to 100 clock hours.
• Experience with youth in licensed childcare or similar.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead licensed afterschool program to keep children safe and engaged.
• Coordinate daily operations and licensing compliance.
• Build strong relationships with families, school partners, and staff.
• Maintain enrollment and attendance records accurately.
• Oversee program quality and continuous improvement.
