Job summary

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is seeking an Afterschool Site Director to lead daily operations, plan engaging activities, and supervise staff for elementary-age programs. You will ensure compliance with Bright from the Start and YMCA guidelines while coordinating resources and trainings.

Ideal candidates bring experience with school-age groups, strong communication, and the ability to support virtual learning and safety protocols across branches.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Credential meeting BFTS Site Directors requirements.
• Experience with school-age children in a group setting.
• Ability to pass a background check and MVR as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the afterschool site.
• Plan and implement activities aligned with program goals.
• Supervise staff and coordinate with the Program Director.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate supply orders and trainings scheduled.
• Support students with virtual learning assignments as needed.
• Ensure YMCA safety protocols are followed, including COVID guidelines.
