YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking an Afterschool Site Director to oversee the daily operations of an elementary-site program. You will design activities, supervise staff, ensure compliance with Bright from the Start and YMCA regulations, and coordinate with the Program Director on program goals.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, BFTS site director credential, and CPR/First Aid, plus experience with school-age children.

Qualificações

• Must be 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a credential that meets BFTS Site Directors requirement.
• Prior experience with school-age children in a group setting.
• A licensed setting and supervision of staff in a school-age setting is a plus.
• Current CPR/First Aid training completed biennially.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass a fingerprint check through Bright from the Start.

Responsabilidades

• Create an environment with varied activities supporting program goals.
• Conduct daily assessments to ensure compliance with YMCA and BFTS regulations.
• Supervise staff and communicate concerns with the Program Director.
• Maintain staff and student files per Bright from the Start and YMCA rules.
• Compile attendance records and other required data.
• Coordinate supply orders with the Program Director.
• Attend required trainings (BFTS, YMCA, others) and maintain training hours.
• Consult with Directors on student development or behavior concerns.
• Contribute input to program planning and development.
• Complete monthly self-assessments of the program.
• Assist students with virtual learning tasks as needed.
• Implement YMCA safety protocols related to COVID and branch operations.
