Job summary

The South Shore YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Afterschool Site Coordinator at the Laura Center for the Arts in Hanover, MA. You will lead the planning and operation of an afterschool program for children, families, members and volunteers, upholding YMCA values and ensuring a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include program management, staff supervision, family engagement, facility upkeep and community partnerships, with hours 1:00 to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience with EEC regulations and QRIS preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certified or provided by the Y.
• Pass background check including fingerprinting.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run the afterschool site with licensing compliance.
• Supervise program staff and participants according to regulations.
• Engage families, respond to inquiries and build relationships.
• Maintain safe, clean facilities and equipment.
• Engage volunteers and support fundraising events.
