Arc Experience seeks a Site Coordinator to lead after-school programs in Southern California, guiding staff and ensuring engaging, safe activities for youth. You will manage calendars, budgets, and partnerships with schools to support student growth beyond the classroom.

The role emphasizes leadership, organization, and communication, with full-time hours and benefits eligibility. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred for community engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in after-school programming operations and administrative skills.
• 1+ year managing a team.
• Strong communication with kids, parents, school admin and teachers; problem-solver and team player.
• Ability to supervise and support staff with minimal direction.
• Collaborative work across all staff levels; professional discretion.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily afterschool programs and activities.
• Engage age-appropriate activities promoting development.
• Recruit, train, and manage program staff.
• Serve as primary contact for school administration; build partnerships.
• Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and evaluate performance.
• Provide ongoing professional development and training.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment for staff and students.
• Address student behavior positively; follow guidelines.
• Monitor attendance and engagement; communicate with parents/school staff.
• Collaborate with district staff to support goals and alignment.
• Maintain records: attendance, incidents, evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations; manage budget and resources.
• Oversee program setup, materials, space, equipment.
• Coordinate transportation and meals/snacks as needed.
