Job summary

Think Together in Colton, CA is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator to support the Site Coordinator and deliver high-quality Expanded Learning programming at the site level. This full-time role leads day-to-day operations, supervises youth leaders and instructors, coordinates schedules, and ensures compliance with grant requirements.

You will train staff, maintain records, communicate with students, parents and school personnel, and help organize events and field trips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience with youth in a classroom or afterschool setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or assist in managing day-to-day operations of the expanded learning program.
• Support with the supervision of program staff (Afterschool Youth Leaders, Instructors).
• Lead and/or assist with interviews, hiring recommendations, disciplinary actions, and evaluations.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to staff.
• Create and organize program schedules including academic, recreation and enrichment activities.
• Plan and participate in events and field trips for the program.
• Maintain positive relationships and communication with school personnel, Think Together staff, students and families.
• Recruit students to meet attendance outcomes per grant requirements.
• Monitor safety policies and enforce procedures to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Assist in maintaining records and documentation (attendance, enrollment, consent forms, etc.).
• Disseminate agency information to staff in a timely manner.
