Job summary

Think Together is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator in Murrieta, CA to support the Site Coordinator and lead day-to-day operations of the Expanded Learning program. The role focuses on compliance and stakeholder communication while ensuring safety and grant adherence.

The position involves supervising staff, coordinating schedules, recruiting students, and helping organize events and field trips to deliver high-quality programming outside regular school hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience working with youth in an afterschool setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a supervisory role, preferably in afterschool or school setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or assist in managing day-to-day operations of the expanded learning program.
• Support with the supervision of program staff (Afterschool Youth Leaders, Athletic and/or Enrichment Instructors).
• Lead and/or assist with interviews, hiring recommendations, disciplinary actions, and staff evaluations.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to all program staff.
• Create and organize program schedules including academic, recreation, and enrichment activities.
• Plan and participate in program events and field trips.
• Maintain positive relationships and communication with school personnel, Think Together staff, students and families.
• Recruit students to meet attendance outcomes per grant requirements.
• Monitor safety and enforce Think Together policies to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records (attendance, enrollment, consent forms, etc.)
