Job summary

Think Together in Bellflower, CA is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator to support the Site Coordinator in delivering high-quality Expanded Learning programming. This role serves as a main point of contact for students, families, staff and school personnel at the site.

You will help run daily operations, supervise staff, assist with hiring and training, organize schedules and events, and ensure compliance with program requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months of experience with youth in classroom or afterschool setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in day-to-day operations of the expanded learning program.
• Supervise program staff and instructors.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring recommendations, disciplinary actions, and staff evaluation.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to all program staff.
• Serve as a role model by demonstrating professionalism.
• Create and organize the program schedule including academic, recreation, and enrichment activities.
• Plan and participate in expanded learning program events and field trips.
• Build positive relationships with school personnel, Think Together staff, students, and families.
• Recruit students to meet attendance outcomes per grant requirements.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all Think Together policies.
