Qualifikationen

• Ability to collaborate with school district staff, officials, parents, and community leaders.
• Familiarity with quality criteria for expanded learning programming is desirable.
• Ability to develop programs for diverse learning styles and interests.
• Experience in ethnically and culturally diverse communities is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication within a team.
• Respond to emergencies using ASAS-LA protocols.
• Excellent organizational and managerial skills with interpersonal talents.
• Proficiency with computer software (MS Office, etc.).
• Must have reliable transportation and pass background checks.
• Fluency in a language other than English is desirable.
• Education: high school diploma or GED plus ASAS-LA exam or higher; Associates or higher is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Supervise staff and volunteers at the ASAS-LA site and provide professional development.
• Train, evaluate program staff, and ensure PD opportunities.
• Discipline support and maintaining a positive program atmosphere.
• Embed ASAS-LA Mission and Vision in daily practices at each site.
• Ensure a safe, engaging educational environment for students.
• Provide guidance and role modeling for participants.
• Oversee day-to-day programming and report emergencies or conflicts.
• Coordinate with school site and ASAS-LA to strengthen partnerships.
• Monitor implementation of ASAS-LA initiatives via observations and trainings.
• Collaborate with school-day efforts for extended learning activities.
• Assist with surveys for program evaluations (parents, staff, students).
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders through meetings.
• Plan yearly programs, session planning, and events; calendar management.
• Maintain community communications via quarterly meetings.
• Schedule site staff and approve bi-weekly payroll.
• Submit check requests, supplies orders, and manage inventory.
• Ensure health and safety standards across program areas.
• Conduct safety training and drills; manage emergency protocols.
• Document safety incidents and report promptly.
• Register students and track activities in CitySpan.
• Review attendance and drive recruitment/retention to meet grant requirements.
• Submit meeting agendas and site calendars monthly.
• Work evenings and weekends; attend required meetings.
• Travel to off-site meetings and events; perform other duties as assigned.
