Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking an Afterschool Lead Coach to support the Site Coordinator in running a safe, well-organized afterschool program for ages 5-17.

You will manage paperwork, help train Coaches, and plan events and field trips, stepping in when the Site Coordinator is unavailable. The role emphasizes maintaining program quality, documentation accuracy, and alignment with the organization's mission of nurturing students through movement, modeling, and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and seek assistance when needed.
• Ability to facilitate physical and sedentary activities.

Responsibilities

• Step in for Site Coordinator when off site or absent.
• Assist in collecting and documenting attendance.
• Support Site Coordinator with meetings, parent workshops, and events.
• Plan and deliver engaging, educational activities for participants.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with program goals and monthly themes.
• Maintain 20:1 student-to-coach ratio and ensure safety.
• Foster positive relationships with youth, parents, and school staff.
• Submit daily attendance records and maintain documentation.
• Organize end-of-semester performances or displays.
• Engage in staff development sessions.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate or majoring in education or related field

Experience working with children aged 5-17

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in expanded learning/out-of-school time activities
