Job summary

Family Health Centers at NYU Langone is seeking a Program Supervisor for a school-age afterschool program in Brooklyn. The role includes setting vision and goals, coordinating curriculum, and building partnerships with the community to enhance youth opportunities.

The candidate will lead staff development, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the Early Childhood Center to provide continuity of care for children and families across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field; actively pursuing a Masters degree.
• Experience working with school-age children in after-school/youth development settings.
• Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
• NYS Teacher Certification preferred; 2 years supervisory experience; experience with curriculum planning and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review attendance and school report cards and follow up.
• Coordinate staff development and onboarding with a trainer model.
• Ensure services for children with IEPs.
• Enter attendance and program reports into DYCD Connect and OST online.
• Recruit, hire, and observe staff to evaluate service delivery.
• Lead curricular planning and coordinate with staff for educational activities.
• Collaborate with the ECC to ensure continuity of care across programs.
• Oversee compliance with NYC DOE and DYCD regulations.
• Manage grants, reporting, and program sustainability.
