Job summary

Family Health Centers at NYU Langone in Brooklyn is seeking a Program Supervisor for a Monday–Friday 10a–6p school-based program. You will set the vision and goals for the afterschool program, oversee administrative operations and curriculum, and align practices with NYC DOE Common Core standards to support children's development.

You will collaborate with the Early Childhood Center, coach staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead continuous improvement and new grant initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Education or related field required.
• Master's degree in Education or related field preferred or in progress.
• Experience with school-age after-school programs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review attendance and school report cards and follow up accordingly.
• Coordinate staff development (on and off site) and ensure new staff receive orientation with train-the-trainer approach.
• Ensure services for children who have IEPs.
• Enter attendance and program reports into DYCD Connect and OST online.
• Coordinate SYEP program paperwork and logistics.
• Supervise SYEP youth and coordinate trainings.
• Order supplies for program needs.
• Recruit, hire, and observe staff for quality service delivery.
• Plan and evaluate curricula with school-age staff.
• Collaborate with data team and regulators to improve program efficiencies.
• Serve as liaison with families and community to promote program activities.
• Recruit new participants for school year and summer sessions.
• Partner with family support to address participant needs.
• Develop community partnerships to expand programming.
• Ensure compliance with NYC DOHMH, NYSDOH, and NYC DYCD requirements.
• Act as group leader during the academic year.
• Coordinate with Warren Street Center leadership for overall operations.
