Police Athletic League, Inc. in New York City seeks a qualified program supervisor for its Elementary School Afterschool Programming.

You will recruit and supervise staff, oversee mental health support, inclusion coordination, and ensure alignment with PAL’s objectives while partnering with schools and community partners. Responsibilities include data‑driven program improvements, coordination of citywide activities, and supporting funding proposals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or credential with 2 years of youth experience under 13.
• Minimum 4 years supervisory experience with youth; 3+ in leadership.
• Strong planning, implementation, and evaluation skills.
• Willing to learn; training in mental health and inclusion provided.
• Bilingual in Spanish, French, or Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster social and emotional competencies in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Manage PAL Elementary School Afterschool Programming; oversee mental health support.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise part‑time staff and specialists.
• Ensure program aligns with PAL policies, SACC regulations, and funding obligations.
• Develop Youth Development culture; coach staff on SEL and inclusion.
• Coordinate with school and HQ staff to enhance programming.
• Collect and analyze data to drive program improvements.
• Maintain partnerships with NYPD, NYCPS, DYCD, DOH and others.
