Job summary

ServingSchools seeks an After School Program Site Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year at SU76-Sedgwick School. You will support an afterschool program that prioritizes reading and math, provide tutoring, enrichment activities, and parent education, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for elementary-aged children.

Reporting to the 21st CCLC Director, the role is approximately 20 hours per week with 2pm–5pm Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Current Maine Teacher Certification preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow program guidelines and grant work plans.
• Monitor staff and volunteers for quality and safety.
• Maintain documentation and communications with parents and school staff.
• Ensure an academic focus in math and reading/language arts.
• Coordinate tutoring and enrichment activities and family education programs.
• Prepare weekly reports and newsletters for Director review.
