Job summary

East Side House Settlement is seeking a dynamic Content Specialist to guide instructional programming for Elementary School in the COMPASS program. You will help design and implement standards-aligned units, oversee curriculum development, and support staff to deliver engaging activities for children and families in a Bronx setting.

Reporting to the Program Director, you will collaborate with staff, build partnerships with schools, and ensure programming aligns with positive youth development,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred
• 3+ years of education experience in school or after-school settings
• Experience with curriculum implementation and hands-on learning
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning engaging, standards-aligned units and projects
• Support program staff with curriculum implementation
• Collaborate with Program Director and school partners to meet needs
• Provide observations, coaching, and resource development for staff
• Design assessment tools and monitor quarterly progress
• Assist with staff training and professional development
