Job summary

East Side House Settlement seeks a Content Specialist to guide instructional programming for COMPASS Elementary Schools in the Bronx and Manhattan. You will design engaging, standards-aligned units and coach staff through curriculum development and on-site observations.

Work closely with the COMPASS Program Director to ensure alignment with Common Core and STEAM, supporting diverse learners while fostering ongoing staff development and data-informed program improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Education.
• 3+ years of education experience, including classroom and program work.
• Experience with standards-aligned curriculum and youth development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing standards-aligned units and projects.
• Provide coaching and professional development to staff and interns.
• Collaborate with school personnel to meet diverse learner needs and benchmarks.
• Monitor program data and support improvements with the Program Director.
