Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a friendly, guest-focused restaurant server to join our Food & Beverage team. You will take orders, deliver food and beverages, and provide attentive service in a fast-paced hotel dining room.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays, basic food safety training, and strong communication with guests and staff. Prior serving experience is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a public-facing role (minimum 1 year).
• Must meet state age requirement to serve alcohol.
• Able to communicate with guests, management, and staff clearly.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe or food safety training completed.
• Alcohol-awareness training (e.g., TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for guests.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve beverages and food to guest tables according to hotel specs.
• Collect payments from guests.
• Maintain restaurant area and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with daily F&B procedures and quality standards.
• Communicate with General Manager and department managers.
