Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a breakfast attendant to warmly welcome guests, assist with breakfast service, and ensure smooth operation of the breakfast bar. You will maintain food quality, replenish items, and support inventory tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Candidates should have at least one year in customer service, hotel experience preferred, and basic food safety certification. English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus, with on-site shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome, greet and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby area.
Setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of the breakfast bar line; prepare specified food items, replenishing food and assisting in serving to guests.
Assist with inventories as scheduled.
Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
Observe all house and safety rules, food handling procedures, and security procedures.
