Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a Banquet Server to provide high-quality service at events and banquets. You will set up tables, serve courses and beverages, and ensure clean, well-organized service areas.

The role requires friendly guest interaction, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Prior banquet or hospitality experience is preferred and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet operations and/or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (TIPS) advised.

Responsibilities

• Set up assigned tables, retrieve and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas and equipment.
• Greet guests, assist with seating, and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address issues as needed.
