Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a friendly dining room server to take orders, serve drinks and meals, and ensure guest satisfaction in a hotel restaurant. You will handle payments and help maintain the dining area in line with hotel standards.

The role requires one year of customer-facing experience, and passes required for alcohol service; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Training in ServSafe or food safety is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer-facing experience.
• State age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Strong communication with guests, management, and co-workers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve beverages and food to guest tables according to hotel specifications.
• Collect payments.
• Assist in maintenance of restaurant area and equipment.
• Communicate with General Manager and other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
• Ensure compliance with daily operational procedures by the F&B Department.
