Job summary

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community seeks an Afternoon/Relief Receptionist to join our Customer Service team. You will greet residents, staff and visitors, answer calls, and help keep daily operations running smoothly.

This part-time role runs Monday to Friday from 1:00pm to 7:00pm, with potential mornings or weekends as relief. You should be personable, have solid phone skills, and enjoy helping others in a caring community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, staff, and visitors.
• Answer phone calls promptly and politely.
• Check voicemail and email and respond appropriately.
• Sort and deliver mail daily.
• Perform cashier duties (petty cash, stamps, batteries, etc).
• Coordinate internal room reservations.
• Direct urgent issues to appropriate staff.
• Coordinate emergency response activities.
• Close each evening according to guidelines.
