Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of patient admitting/registration/insurance eligibility experience preferred.
• EPIC training/experience preferred.
• Insurance payor systems experience preferred.
• ICD-10 terminology experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office knowledge.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service by phone, in person and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient reception, face-to-face check-ins, and pre-registration.
• Confirm insurance eligibility and collect payments at point of service.
• Register new patients and update records accurately.
• Address inquiries with professionalism and compassion.
