Job summary

Butterfly Effects in Tucson, AZ seeks a part-time Child Interventionist/Behavior Technician or RBT to support children with autism in ABA-based programs. The role runs after school, typically 3pm–7pm, 3–5 days per week, and offers growth toward becoming an RBT or pursuing BCBA with company support.

You will implement plans under a BCBA, track progress, record data, and collaborate with families and the treatment team to foster communication, social skills and independence in children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress and behavior daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and/or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Works as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in our online database.
• Participates in continuous training programs to increase skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows Butterfly Effects policies and procedures.
